It’s officially the time when we all look back at the year and our journey towards the better living. Some will take new year’s resolutions and some will improve on the existing ones that they were not able to achieve in 2020.
Amazing, isn’t it?
After 2018, it is my second post which shares my life lessons, feelings, and experiences that happened over the past 12 months.
I believe 2020 is the year that didn’t go as planned for everyone because the world was introduced to the novel coronavirus COVID-19 which almost stopped the world.
2020 started with the feeling of love.
In February, I tied the knots with Diksha. And, this is the best thing that ever happened to me! She is an amazing woman who always cares and provides support. She loves me for who I am but challenges me to become even better.

As March unfolded, COVID-19 had entered India.
Here comes the era of Working From Home. I came back to my hometown from Delhi and started working from home. A new experience, new learning!
I can write more about this WFH as I have spent 9 months there (still in WFH mode). This broke the usual experience of taking a cab to the office, sitting in the cubicle for 9 hours, team meetings and cracking jokes with friends at a tea stall.
Everything changed as now Zoom and MS TEAMS was hosting all the office meetings and tea parties.

Now came November.
After 7 years, I have decided that COVID year – 2020 will be my last year at Real Time Data Services (RTDS).
It was with a heavy heart that I said goodbye to all of my friends and team members here, many of whom I had seen on a daily basis for the last 7 years.
When I look back on my journey at RTDS, I feel proud. This team has been my family and guidance for the last 7 years. I have seen our team navigate the hurdles that came during this journey which made us a better marketer and a person as a whole.
While I am excited about my new role at Moonshot Junior, I will never forget the career that I enjoyed at RTDS.
December 2020 was the beginning of my new journey at Moonshot Junior as an SEO Manager.
I also want to thank everyone – friends, family, teammates who were always there to support me during this transition. Leaving a company where you spent your 7 years is not an easy task for someone like me who always felt that RTDS is like my home.
I would end my note with some final words. There were many challenges, difficulties, and even failures, but I believe in looking at them as opportunities to grow and having a combination of confidence, and hard work makes everything possible.
Happy new year 2021!
